What is “3D Personal Tile” ?

Each of us has a very
special place that we associate with personal moments, a place we love to
return to, or a memory linked to a particular image or saying. This is the idea
behind "3D Personal Tile," the personalized, 3D printed tile 2.0.
3D printing allows us
to make any conceivable place tangible in topographical form and literally
"bring it home." Everyone can now have their very own favorite tile
"on demand," metallically coated in gold, copper, aluminum, or
stainless steel – depending on the design preference. A special place in the
form of a familiar topography, a memory, a thought, a meaningful saying, a
portrait, or any personally relevant symbol or logo in graphic or handwritten
form can become a "3D Personal Tile" and evoke emotions.
In the B2B sector, we
are commissioned to develop and tell a company context, identity, or narrative
to strengthen the connection between the customer and the brand. "3D
Personal Tile" can do this too, as we can represent any vision, image,
context, or story in high-quality, durable, and sustainable relief form.
"3D Personal
Tile" is executed as an artwork on the wall or as a "highlight wall
tile" integrated into the existing or new wall surface. The tile is
available in PUR, GLASS, and GEO versions. In the "PUR" version, the
relief forms directly from the tile and is tactile and visually tangible. In
the laminated "GLASS" version, the relief lies in a frame behind glass
and finishes flush and watertight with the wall material. The "GEO"
tile is a cast of the 3D printed negative mold. The cast consists of a
cement-free concrete that saves 80% CO2 compared to traditional Portland
cement-based concretes and does not need to be fired at high temperatures like
traditional clay tiles.
Impact
For us, sustainability
means longevity and extending life cycles up to the heirloom level, moving away
from a throwaway mentality. For the "PUR" and "GLASS"
versions of the tile, we use bio-based plastics, which are permanently and
sustainably protected against fading and aging by metallic PVD coating. If the
life cycle eventually comes to an end, the metallic coatings on the PUR and
GLASS versions can be 100% sorted and separated from the bio-based plastic.
Depending on the
motif's design, the "PUR" tile has sound-breaking properties that
help improve room acoustics.

Cooperation NDC and DEAURO
The "3D Personal
Tile" project is our current product family, which we have developed over
the last 2 years and are now bringing to market. The product was created in
cooperation with DEAURO. New Digital Craft had the idea for 3D Personal Tile,
is responsible for the design, brings its long-standing 3D printing expertise,
and produces the 3D printed motives. DEAURO brings its expertise in surface
finishing and lamination and is also primarily responsible for this area in
production.
Was
genau ist „3D PERSONAL TILE“ ?
Jeder von uns hat einen ganz besonderen Ort,
mit dem er persönliche Momente verbindet oder an den er immer wieder gerne
zurückkehrt, oder eine Erinnerung die er mit einem besonderen Bild oder einem
Spruch in Verbindung bringt. Genau das ist die Idee hinter „3D Personal Tile“,
der personalisierten, 3D gedruckten Fliese 2.0.
Der 3D Druck ermöglicht es uns, jeden
erdenklichen Ort als Ausschnitt in topografischer Form greifbar zu machen und
wortwörtlich „nach Hause zu bringen“. Jeder erhält nun seine ganz persönliche
Lieblingsfliese „on demand“ metallisch beschichtet in Gold, Kupfer, Alu oder
Edelstahl – je nach Gestaltungswunsch. Eine besonderer Ort in Form einer
vertrauten Topografie, eine Erinnerung, ein Gedanke, ein Sinnspruch, ein Portrait,
jedes persönlich relevante Symbol oder Logo in grafischer oder
handschriftlicher Form kann zur “3D Personal Tile“ werden und Emotionen wecken.
Im B2B Bereich werden wir beauftragt einen
Firmenkontext, eine Identität, ein Narrativ zu entwickeln und zu erzählen um so
die Verbindung des Kunden zur Marke zu stärken. Auch das kann "3D Personal
Tile", da wir im Prinzip jede Vision, jedes Bild, jeden Kontext, jede
Story in Reliefform hochwertig, langlebig und nachhaltig abbilden können.
„3D Personal Tile“ wird als Kunstwerk an der
Wand oder als „Highlight Wandfliese“ integriert in der bestehenden oder neuen
Wandoberfläche ausgeführt. Die Fliese gibt es als PUR, GLAS und GEO Version.
Bei der „PUR“ Version bildet sich das Relief direkt aus der Fliese und ist
haptisch und optisch erfahrbar. Bei der laminierten „GLAS“ Version liegt das
Relief in einem Rahmen hinter Glas und schließt flächenbündig und wasserdicht
mit dem Wandmaterial ab. Die „GEO“ Fliese ist ein Abguss der 3D gedruckten
Negativform. Der Abguss besteht aus einem zementfreien Beton, der im Vergleich
zu klassischen Portland-Zementgebundenen Betonen 80% CO2 einspart und nicht wie
klassischen Tonfliesen bei hohen Temperaturen gebrannt werden muss.
Impact: Nachhaltigkeit ist für uns Langlebigkeit
und bedeutet Lebenszyklen zu verlängern, bis hin zum Erbstück weg von einer
Wegwerf-Mentalität. Für die „PUR“ und „GLAS“ Version der Fliese verwenden wir
biobasierte Kunststoffe, die durch die metallische PVD Beschichtung gegen
UV-Strahlung dauerhaft und nachhaltig gegen Ausbleichen und Alterung geschützt
werden. Sollte der Lebenszyklus doch irgendwann beendet werden, sind bei der
PUR sowie GLAS Variante die metallischen Beschichtungen vom biobasierten Kunststoff
zu 100% sortenrein trennbar.
Die „PUR“ Fliese hat je nach Ausprägung des
Motivs, schallbrechende Eigenschaften, die dazu beitragen, die Akustik in
Räumen zu verbessern.

hergestellt.

Das Projekt "3D Personal Tile" ist
unsere aktuelle Produktfamilie, die wir in den letzten 2 Jahren entwickelt
haben und jetzt auf den Markt bringen. Das Produkt ist in Kooperation mit der
Firma DEAURO entstanden. New Digital Craft hatte die Idee für 3D Personal Tile,
ist für das Design zuständig, bringt sein langjähriges 3D Druck Know-how ein
und produziert die 3D gedruckten Bauteile. DEAURO bringt seine Expertise im Bereich
Oberflächenveredelung und Laminierung ein und ist auch für diesen Bereich in
der Produktion Hauptverantwortlich.
